有其父必有其子(유기부필유기자)

그 아버지에 그 아들이다.
부전자전(父傳子傳)이다.
아버지와 아들은 용모나 성질이 비슷하여 그 관계를 속일 수 없다.
어떤 집안이 지녀 온 내력은 아무도 없애지 못한다.
한국속담에서는 "씨는 못 속인다", "씨 도둑은 못한다"고 한다.
"피는 못 속인다"도 같은 의미이다.
"아비만한 자식 없다"는 한국속담도 있다.
